"Was immer geschah mit dem Teenager Traum?" .*seufz* ;-)
Marc Bolan (1947-1977), brit.Rock- und Jugendidol,
entdeckte ich kurz vor meinem 13. Geburtstag. Dies ist ein ganz "gefährliches" Alter.
Es ist die Phase zwischen kindlicher Verträumtheit und dem Frühstadium
der später folgenden rebellischen Phase.
Genau diese Fans hatte Marc Bolan erfolgreich bedient. Er stachelte die Teenager-Träume
erheblich an, indem er als eine Art "Glam-Rock-Märchenonkel" und mit fantasievoller Kleidung verzauberte. -
- seine Lieder sind gespickt mit Elfen und Zauberern ...
Seine wunderschönen dunklen Locken und die Tatsache, daß er sich schminkte
(Glam Rock), gaben ihm etwas ewig Jungenhaftes, ja sogar etwas Feminines. -
Er ließ sich sowohl von Bob Dylan, wie auch Elvis Presley inspirieren.
Sein Auftreten war nie "machohaft" und so konnte er auch "verträumte Softies" in seinen Bann ziehen.... ;-)
Die Tatsache, daß er schon als Jugendlicher ziemlich präzise seinen frühen Tod durch einen tragischen Verkehrsunfall voraussagen konnte, geben ihm etwas bleibend Mystisches...

Marc Bolan (1947-1977), brit. singer, poet, musician and idol.
I spotted him shortly before my 13th birthday. It's a very "dangerous" age.
It's between childish dreaming and the beginning of following youngster rebellion.
Marc Bolan could satisfy those fans very sucessfull. He pushed their teenage dreams very powerfull by acting as a kind of "Glam Rock - fairytale uncle" and enchanted with fanciful clothes. - His lyrics are filled with elves and magicians...
His beautiful dark curls and the fact that he applied make-up (Glam-Rock) gave him an eternal boylike looking, indeed something feminine. -
He was inspired by Bob Dylan, as well as Elvis Presley.
His appearance never was macho and so he also could attract "dreamy softies"... ;-)
He could predict his untimely passing by a car crash very precise,
already when he was a youngster, this gives him something steady mystical...
