Rittersporn auf meinem Balkon

Besonders freue ich mich über meine jährlichen Ritterspornblüten auf meinem Balkon.
Was für ein Blau! Eine einzelne Blüte zaubert eine ganz wunderbare Stimmung, die bis in mein Wohnzimmer ausstrahlt. Diese Stimmung verschwindet sobald die Blüte verwelkt ist. Zum Glück ist Rittersporn "remontierend", d.h. er blüht ein zweites Mal ab September, wenn man ihn direkt nach dem ersten Verblühen konsequent zurückschneidet.   

Diese Sorte ist eine "Pazific Mischung", es ist eine besonders großblütige Sorte die ursprünglich aus Kalifornien stammt.
Ich habe mich bei diesem Bild mal etwas "impressionistisch" versucht:
Ein sonniger Frühsommertag in strahlendem Blau......

Dies Bild wirkt am besten, wenn es von weiter entfernt betrachtet!

Delphinium - Acryl auf Holzplatte (Acrylic on board) ca. 25cm x20cm (10 x 8 inch)

I'm very  pleased about my annual Delphinium blooms on my balcony. 
What a blue! Each bloom causes a glorious mood which reaches my living room. 
This mood disappears when the blooms are faded. Luckily Delphinium blooms a second 
time in beginning of September, if you deadhead the faded blooms consequently.

This breed is a "Pacific Mix" with special big blooms, originally from California (haha).
At this painting  I've tried to capture this "impressionistic" mood:
A sunny day in early summer in bright blue.....
