Highlights of Rechtenstein:
- malerische Landschaft / picturesque landscape
- nicht von Touristen überlaufen / not overcrowded by tourists
- Felsen, Wald, Blumenwiesen, Berge, die junge Donau vor der Haustür / Rocks, forest, flower meadows, mountains, the young river Danube in front of the door
- und natürlich: etliche romantische Schlösser und Burgruinen in der Umgebung /and offcourse:a number of romantically castles and castle ruins around!;-)
- viele Freizeitaktivitäten direkt vor der Haustür: Ökotouren (z.B. Biber beobachten) , Wandern, Radwandern, Kanufahren auf der Donau / recreation in front of the door: eco-tours (e.g. watching beavers), hiking, cycle touring along the Danube, Rechtenstein is part of the "Danube Cycle Path" - you can ride to the spring! ;-), canoeing on the Danube
- Ausflugsziele / Destinations: 40 km bis Ulm (höchster Kirchturm der Welt), 100 km bis zum Bodensee, 100 km bis zu den Alpen, 100 km bis in den Schwarzwald, 50 km bis nach Bayern, 200 km bis München / 40 km to Ulm (tallest church of the world), 100 km to Lake Constance, 100 km to Alps, 100 km to Black Forest, 50 km to Bavaria and just 200 km to Munich!
- viele Brauereien in der näheren Umgebung / plenty of breweries are around ;-)
- viele Thermalbäder in der näheren Umgebung / plenty of hot springs around
